Apple Products Response

What are your thoughts and feelings after reading the article?  Does it make you think differently about your use of apple products?  Has your consciousness been raised?  If so, explain.

Personally, I feel angered that Apple uses its workers as if it were in a slave trading economy, while the world seems to have evolved so much from that. Apple attempts to blind its customers by the beauty of the products it creates, while in reality there is little to no beauty behind all the labor. The work that is put into making each piece is not worth it, especially since now there is a more modern way to achieve a very similar product. If Apple would create their iPads and iPhones and iPods in factories that used machines instead of humans I would feel much better about buying their products lately, but since they don't it makes me uneasy and unsure about settling for a product that could have cost thousands their lives. Apple does not even seem to abide by human ethic codes, or if they do it seems that their standards are extremely low. I am offended that such a major corporation thinks that it can just take advantage of its workers, and also its consumers. I think that everyone that has Apple products should know about this, as well as what they can possibly do about this issue. If possible, I would find it appropriate to send letters or more petitions to Apple showing them how concerned their consumers really are about the ethics of the company and that they should seriously consider raising their standards or else they might end up losing some loyal consumers.
